On top of adding to my grisled good looks, this beard will give me some protection from the sun and a place to hide snacks for easy access while rowing.
Given that I've been at it for less than a month, I give this beard a 6.5 out of 10. I've still got some work to do to match these bearded wonders of the world: http://www.beards.org/features.php

Hey Paul! Pressconnects.com is doing a darn good job of keeping folks in the Bing informed about your little jaunt across the pond. I do believe, however, that you should have kept up with your shaving until you actually shoved off shore...it's like you've cheated for 26 days on growing that beard! It takes about 6 weeks for a beard to look legitimate. Yours is quite good for a month. Every seafaring man needs a beard.
But back to business: The Binghamton Press reports you have your paperwork in place and that you may launch Thursday. How about a real update?
