CNN Coverage of Row for Hope

Paul will try to do his first blog entry from land some time today.

In the meantime, here's a link to the story on CNN.com (one of CNN's Top 10 Stories at the moment). And here's the clip of yesterday's arrival interview.

CNN was planning another live interview (this one with live video as well), but it's been preempted by an event from the White House. Maybe later this week . . . .

Thanks again for all your support for Paul and Row for Hope!

Congratulations Paul, that is an incredible accomplishment - I've had many people in Chicago ask if I know about the guy from Colgate that rowed across the ocean, recognition for row for hope is definitely building.

Congrats,
Skeeter

Are there any photos/ video clips available of the arrival?

There are some available in the Binghampton Press but are there any more?

Dear Paul,
We are learning about time in our classroom. We figured out that you were on your boat for 2112 hours!! That is also 12 1/2 weeks.
My class would like to invite you to come and talk to us about your trip.
We are so proud of you!

Paul, it has been amazing to vicariously (and lazily) follow your tremendous trek. As soon as I saw you landed we popped the champagne, made a small donation and toasted your success!

Congratulations! A few of us watched your CNN interview live while waiting for a plane at the (gigantic) Broome County Airport! (I was allowed to switch away from the NASCAR race for a few minutes.) I have enjoyed my daily reading of your blog and following your progress. It is great that you made it!

Bruce

P.S. I can get you a great deal on a slightly used water maker!

All the best Paul!!! I remember how good it felt to reach dry land, showers, and a cold drink after so many days without them. Cherish all the memories, they're some of the best you will ever have!! Congrats, man!

Paul,
Congratulations !!

I am sure your Mom is so proud of achievement, as is the rest of your family, I am certain, as well.

I have been following you for most of your journey, and willing you on mentally. The blog kept me enrapt with the details of your voyage.

I now have the Bombay Saphire in my possession, and await toasting you in person in the 'magic circle' the next time our paths cross again.

Well done !!
